About Our Law Department

Students at Law & Technology who are considering careers in the legal field have the opportunity to take courses in Law. Ms. Marsick, our law teacher, is a seasoned teacher with a passion for law. She's also a New York State Bar certified attorney. Students learn about federalism and the legal system, crime, sentencing, arraignment and pre trial motions, elements of trial and the trial process, the responsibilities of a trial attorney, impeachment and rules of evidence, etc. Students then utilize their knowledge to participate in Mock Trials. 

 

Students passionate about law have the opportunity to take a college level Criminal Law class through the University of Albany.
